Hi everyone! Would appreciate if you share your opinion on my situation.
My cec application got refused due to officers dissatisfaction with consistency of my duties with declared noc code-Chef position
My manager wrote experience letter for me and followed all instructions and put my duties according to the noc page, but she listed them pretty shortly and informally, e.g. "cooking products", "following food standards", "helping clients", "placing orders" etc. She agreed to write a supporting letter to explain that my duties as Chef were performed as required and she can give more detail since she didn't write it as formally on the letter I submitted in my application, in case that could cause misunderstanding?
What are my chances to ask for reconsideration with that additional letter? My score is in lower 500s so if I'm also considering reapplying if the scores go down. Thank you all!

Sorry to hear about your situation! However, IRCC will hold you accountable to get a letter as per their requirements. You should have asked the first time and ensured to get a proper work experience letter. Nowadays, IRCC is just outright refusing/rejecting applications even for the slightest error. They're not asking for any ADRs. You could try re-submitting the revised letter, however, it's totally on the discretion of the visa officer to re-open your file or not!
