Canadian citizen sponsor has a pardoned criminal conviction, but still has to declare it on sponsorship application.
The spouse (applicant) lives in Philippines. Because it's an outland application, I believe it will be processed in her home country.
My question is, would the criminal conviction be disclosed/known to Philippine authorities such as their police or bureau of immigration? Or, does it only remain within the Canadian system?
