one of the messages of the boyfriend was they will make sure she won’t get any nanny anymore for firing the employee based on AWOL and misconduct
Who is they and what do you mean she will not get a nanny anymore? These are threats and employer should go to the police on the employee and boyfriend. File a report on threats and potential abuse by employee. Employee could be investigated during VOWP process.

I will let her know thanks for the advice. The single parent is so scared. She is the only one the his son’s got
Employee is trying to scare and threaten the mother so employee can get VOWP. The mother should go to police with evidence, and also seek legal advice. Depending on province, she may be eligible for free legal advice. Employee cannot work for anyone else. Tell mother to make sure employee doesn’t have access to house.

When the boyfriend started sending the mother messages, the employee requested to collect her things. What the mother did is she placed the belongings in eco bags and requested the concierge of the building to secure the items until the employee picks it up. She also mentioned to the employee that she should get a luggage because the eco bags are not accepted in the airport. The employee still has the travel luggage she borrowed during her visit to her boyfriend that led to the AWOL and the mother didn’t even asked it back.
The parent did this to ensure her home’s safety. But this particular instance, the employee is using that she was treated inhumane, left her homeless.

Would also suggest contacting IRCC to explain that they anticipate that their previous employee on a closed work permit will apply for a VOWP based on accusations of abuse but explain in detail with proof why the employee was terminated and what happened after the termination.
