You have to be living in the province so you wait. The issue is I still haven't made my permanent move to Canada. I'm planning on doing it next year. Can I do it from when I'm out of Canada or should I wait until I get there?

Hello
My wife and I received our PR in October 2024 and have already completed the soft landing. Could you please let me know the process for obtaining our health card/insurance?
Appreciate your assistance.
This also isn't a family sponsorship question. Please ask your question in the appropriate forum (e.g., Health) if you don't get a satisfactory answer from searching the internet. You will need to indicate your province to get the right information since each province has its own system. You will probably benefit more from looking at the Health forum than this one. You won't be able to apply until you are in Canada, but you are free to learn about the different provinces' systems beforehand. The issue is I still haven't made my permanent move to Canada. Quite a few of us from the first half of March are still waiting for the ECOPR. Hoping that we'll hear something before Christmas, but again with holidays coming up, things might be a bit slow.Hello friends! Any late March applicants who got their eCOPR yet?
Hopefully. I applied for a SOWP last week (I have maintained status now) and I'm not planning on travelling over the holidays which means I'm lucky to have no immediate need for this to finish. Still.... would be nice if it wasn't so long between P2 and eCOPR.Quite a few of us from the first half of March are still waiting for the ECOPR. What do you mean by passport received by IRCC?hey all, passport received by IRCC on 12nov for spouse sponsorship, but still no update. Any idea how long it takes? been 29 days and 21 business days now.

This discussion is for inland sponsorship (Both sponsor and spouse are living together in Canada). So most would be doing virtual landing without submitting passport to any VO since they are inside Canada.
Post in the correct discussion for your question. Find an outland discussion on your month that the application was submitted.outland application
@Saizhang Here is that same question and my answer.Quite a few of us from the first half of March are still waiting for the ECOPR. Hoping that we'll hear something before Christmas, but again with holidays coming up, things might be a bit slow.
I have got my P2 today as well.Just another update received P1 email. Responded back with all the info.
When we completed P2 on 12/5, it displayed a message saying that processing times were 24 days. You're currently 21 days in. After that, perhaps send them a message?Been waiting for eCOPR since Nov 20th, why this long wait?
Sitting here waiting since the 31st October. I might be wrong but I thought processing time was for the PR card and not the eCOPR (which just says 'up to a few weeks to upload').When we completed P2 on 12/5, it displayed a message saying that processing times were 24 days.
