Hi @Miss bee and all,

I have submitted two Schedule 4s. One is hand-signed and dated correctly (that is, it has the date of the application submission). But the other one is not hand-signed and contains a date that is 90 days older than the date of submission.

Do you think there would be any issue? If yes, any suggestion?

Thanks!

Don’t worry. If you have submitted correct version of Schedule A and it’s hand signed, your application won’t get returned.

For work history you can attach extra sheet of paper and include it there . For current work permit, you should attach it with PDF copy of passport and for Compliance fees receipt, you should attach under optional documents section.
I will make a letter with additional attached files , work permit, work history, my cv proof of payment .
Only I was thinking that for Invitation Letter I merge WPSL and Nominee Certificate, next for section Proof that you Meet the Requirements I can merge Letter of employment my contract current work permit.
Or just to follow your explanation.

Work permit goes along with passport. Only attach WPSL and nomination together.

my application has come to a complete standstill.

I called IRCC today and the security hasnt even started yet. this is the same status since start of the October. I dont know whats the hold up for. I contacted the MPP but his office just provided me with the same updates. I dont know what to do at this stage.

I lived in USA more than 6 months 13 years ago when I was more than 18 years old. This is not included In the personal history as it is older than 10 years ago. i believe police certificate is required in this situation. After including the police certificate should I include an explanation letter to explain when I lived in US? I want to avoid a potential misunderstanding.

Yes this is normal security check . Your GCMS notes won’t show anything regarding security screening. Best option is to order CBSA notes .
How security screening works, It depends on the IRCC officer if he wants to send you for a security screening due to your application hitting one of the indicators in their system
so they sent you for a security check, first, your files go to CBSA and then CBSA sends it to CSIS, once CSIS confirms your security is concluded and the file has been returned to CBSA, now your file is with CBSA, your gcms notes will start showing security in progress by CBSA, and once CBSA did their part they will send your file back to IRCC and then IRCC officer will make a decision.

so in easy words IRCC=>CBSA=>CSIS
IRCC<=CBSA<=CSIS

Hi @Miss bee

I received my CBSA notes recently and I see that the Sponsorship is Family Class and Refugee.
Also the HC-CDA Triage is REFUGEE.
Where as I have a Provencial nomination of Employe Job Offer also at the bottom of the CBSA notes I see Case Type as Economic Case, Schedule 4 on file: Yes
I am certainly not a refugee and never applied for any refugee status and I am not sure why is this mentioned - Should I reach out to IRCC to correct this?

One more thing mentioned is that the Biometrics is of poor quality, even though I have given my Biometrics twice.

Also what is Category: PV2
What section of these notes could give me a indication of the reason for this prolonged security check.

My application for PR was filed in the first week of Dec 2023, its been exactly 12 months and there is no end in sight - please help out.

Order CBSA notes and see actual status of your security. GCMS notes doesn’t have any update or information regarding security.

Yes you were required to include this information in Schedule A and Travel history form . You should apply from FBI and send it to IRCC.

It is concerning to see incorrect classifications like “Family Class and Refugee” in your CBSA notes, especially since you applied under a Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) for economic immigration. While errors in case notes don’t always mean errors in processing, it’s important to address them to avoid unnecessary delays or confusion. You can raise a webform inquiry with IRCC to request clarification and correction of the “Refugee” classification, providing them with your PNP nomination details as evidence.
Regarding the biometrics, the “poor quality” note suggests the system flagged issues with your biometrics scans, potentially affecting security clearance. You can request IRCC to confirm whether re-submission of biometrics is required to resolve this issue.
The category “PV2” likely indicates the internal risk assessment level assigned to your application during security screening. PV2 implies a higher level of scrutiny, often leading to prolonged checks, though it doesn’t necessarily mean anything negative about your application. To understand the reason for the extended security screening, you should closely examine sections like “Security Screening,” “Admissibility,” and “Notes” in the CBSA report. These sections often provide insight into whether additional verification or risk assessment is causing the delay.

Thanks Miss Bee. the IRCC agent said security hasnt even started yet. Should i still order CBSA notes or wait for a later time when IRCC says security has begun
