Portal invite.. the email consist of couple questions.. eye color , height etc.. reply to the email with all the information asked and then they will send you P2 which will need confirmation of address and upload of picture for your pr card.

Hi everyone!
So, seeing April applications already started getting their FDs, assumed mine was around the corner and called IRCC to touch base. They told me my criminality check was done, information sharing was ongoing and security check did not even start. So, wanted to ask you guys, by any chance if anybody knows which phase of background check takes the most of the time or not? Guess, I have at least couple of months to go now...

Biometrics Request: Jun 13, 2024 (showing completed in tracker)
Eligibility Completed: July 9, 2024
Pre-Arrival Letter: July 10, 2024
Medical Completed: Jul 22, 2024
Background check - in Progress: since June 11, 2024

The applicate status tracker showing last `Updated: Oct 4, 2024`. Which is a ghost update - no new info was updated.

I will update if there's portal 1. Finger crossed

It's usually easier to submit webform than calling.
Unless you see issue long time after submitting a webform, I don't see why you need to call them.
