Wife's Application was on April 8.
She just received and replied to the P1 email.

Applied 4/11 got background green today 
. Also a COPR number assigned.
I will worry less about when I will receive p1 and p2, l think they will come eventually. Looks like IRCC is advancing one date by each day. Good luck y’all!

HI guys, i have a question about go aboard while i waiting my ecopr. Do i have to inform ircc that i have a plan to go out of Canada? thanks (i have open work-permit) or i just use work permet when i get back? i bought ticket on Dec 30th.

Do you have a valid TRV to return? Your work permit doesn't allow you to return.
And if you applied inland, you should say in specially when they are almost ready to send you eCOPR (which would be your "landing" date or date you become PR).
This get tricky if you are not inside Canada and "landed" as PR.
u mean the visa on passport? still valid till 2027. also im applied inland, i heard from others i supposed to inform ircc my travel plan, should call them? or reply p1 email with travel plan?
I think you need to call them. IRCC putting p1, p2 and eCOPR so far apart is creating a lot of issues.
I don't know if they will hold your eCOPR until you return back to Canada. It's an issue if the communication is lost and they issue it while you are outside.

Try to raise a webform or call them in the morning to check.
Check the spam mail folder too for the P1 mail.
