Given the news regarding high rate of visitor visa rejection for Indians, should I apply for visitor visa or super visa for my parents?

Relevant Details:
- My parents (in India) had a 10 year multiple entry visitor visa which has now expired.
- They have visited Canada multiple times but never overstayed.
- Valid US visa
- Father is 72 and Mother is 68
- They have 3 children (2 in Canada and 1 in the US). All married with their families
- My father runs a business and my mother is retired college professor
- We have sufficient funds to show for SuperVisa and can get medical insurance

Also My father does have some health issues (diabetes and related problems) so not sure if passing medical is going to be a challenge for him

Sure, if it's in a stage of dialysis, but it's not a diabetes itself. I mean if you have a diabetes, it's not a deal breaker.
Problems with kidney function can be an issue for medicals way before requiring dialysis. Kidney function is one of the things IRCC looks for because if kidney function is compromised you present a risk. May only need a nephrologist to do a more thorough analysis of an applicant’s health. Also a very good idea to look at the fine print of supervisa insurance with preexisting conditions.

Sure, it's understandable. All I am saying is that a diabetes itself is not a deal breaker, especially for a super visa where issuance covers mostly everything, it's not a deal breaker even for a PR application.
