I already had a CAQ for the September intake, but I deferred by two semesters, so I need a new CAQ which I applied for, but it's already been 27 days, and I still haven't heard from them. I got my first CAQ within 7 days, so I don't know what to do. I can't even call because they receive the call in French.

Always. The times are estimates. Are you at business days or calendar days? If not starting until Spring then you have lots of time. Going to university?
Yes, I have but I want to process as soon as possible documentation requires almost a month and processing time is 2 months, I want to stay on safe side so even if study permit is denied I have adequate time to reapply and join, btw my intake is summer

So just wait. You didn’t say business or calendar days.

STUDY
I know this is unrelated to the post but can anyone help me with this :")

I recently got my study permit approved by the IRCC, however because of the delay in processing I had to defer the semester from Fall 2024 to Winter 2025 (the next term). Following this I had already uploaded the updated letter of acceptance to IRCC after which they approved my application.

As per the Quebec ministry I did not have to apply for a new caq as I deferred once to next study session. I have cross verified this information on their bulletin, on IRCC website and its also explicitly stated on the CAQ attestation letter I was given.

My question is will this create any issue at the port of entry or at the school for enrolment ? Do I need to reapply caq ? I am scared as I am travelling end of this month. I have also checked the school website which says I do not need a new caq. Additionally I also checked this with other school websites in quebec which say the same.

This what the IRCC website states:
Since November 11, 2022, MIFI no longer requires that students obtain a new CAQ when they postpone the start of their study program to the next semester, as scheduled in the school calendar. If students must postpone the start of their study program for more than one semester, they must, however, submit a new CAQ application. If students change their level of study, they must also obtain a new CAQ. These situations are applicable to students outside and inside Canada.
For further information, please refer to MIFI’s Note on Immigration Procedures (NPI 2022-06) (PDF, 110 KB) (available in French only).

Thanks any help will be really appreciated!!!
