Hi there,
We submit a dual intent (LMIA and work permit) to support my PR. We haven't received any update yet from ESDC, it's in process. My work is expiring this month. Am I allowed to work when my permit expires and while waiting for the result of the Dual intent or with the LMIA?

No, you cannot work. You can apply for a work permit extension.

I remember the closed work permit is usually dependent on LMIA correct? What if LMIA document is already expired and the closed work permit is going to be expired, is there any way to extend current closed work permit? is it required to apply for a new LMIA? Thanks in advance.
