Just a heads-up for you! There has been instances where the TRV or WP got invalidated 5-10 minutes before they were suppose to fly.

Thats interesting. how would they know the person is going to fly in the next 5-10 minutes?

Probably after they scan the passport at the airport before boarding the flight! Not sure though how it exactly works but it has happened in the past for sure!

I had a chat with three of my coworkers and two friends who recently became permanent residents. They mentioned that their ETAs and work permits are still showing as valid in their accounts. It seems that the IRCC doesn't cancel these documents once someone becomes a permanent resident. So, the airline should still be able to validate them.

It might show up as valid in an online account but when scanned, because it was administratively cancelled, it will probably show up as invalid at the border or at a check in counter.
