I work in PHSA for a full-time role.
After I passed the 3-month probation period, I reached out to HR Immigration Support if they could provide me documents for BC PNP HA Stream. HR response was affirmative, and within 3 days I got the documents. Also, EE manager will play a role as well because HR will ask manager to fill out the EE declaration form and will have to write something about why he/she hired you for the role, and justify his/her recommendation for nomination.

In summary, I asked and secured the documents early January and submitted my BC PNP HA-EE application last week of the same month.

Hopefully, this helps.
Hello. Could you share when did you get your support from HR? I have just joinned PHSA as fullt time permanent employee after working for one year as contractor. Hopping to get support for BC PNP.

Hello Everyone, I am following this thread as I was trying to understand how long the health authority stream will last. I got concerned when I read some of the comments here saying that health authorities have now stopped supporting applicants who are not healthcare professionals. Can someone confirm this and provide the link where this news has been found? I suppose that it should have been posted on the official BCPNP website, but I can't find it and it seems that the health authority stream should still accept applicants who receive a job offer in any field from a health authority. Thank you

What I heared is not that they stopped providing support, but they switched from supporting every request they got, to analyze case by case and decide to support or not. It is not a secure support as it was in the past. At least that is what I have been told. I didn’t request it yet.. so let’s see.

Thank you so much for your answer. I work for the government and although my NOC is on the priority list, they don't support applicants with the BC PNP program. I am trying to go back to health where I used to work in another country in the hope of being eligible for the health authority stream but since Canada is planning a huge immigration cut, I am afraid they may change the eligibility criteria for this stream (meaning accepting only nurses, midwife, or physicians). So stressful. May I ask you how long it took for you to get a job with a health authority? Thanks again and I hope they will help you.

Too many non-healthcare professionals were applying so they are now limiting which NOCs.
Hi, may I ask you where did you find this info? Were you informed by HR? I am trying to understand if they are going to change the criteria of the health authority stream to accept only healthcare professionals. Thank you
