That NOC code looks right, that's what I was advised to enter for my job offer (data analytics). As for whether HAs are not providing documentation, my HA was happy to support me. You would need to reach out to the relevant HR staff who have experience and knowledge of the application process in your HA. I'm not so sure if there are additional documents to submit for the tech stream (I only applied for the HA stream, and I believe you can only have 1 active profile at any one time).
Thank you! i got the response from HR and got the below response. They are not able to support :(. Is there anything i can do from my end, very depressing.

The BC provincial nominee program is a highly streamlined immigration pathway where Employers are responsible for carefully considering and applying rigorous and consistent criteria to every application sent forward to ensure optimal use of the program. IH continues to review and prioritize supporting BC PNP applications for difficult-to-fill and critical positions in the health authority. Each request for BC PNP is reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
Interior Health has reviewed your request and is not able to support your nomination for the BC Provincial Nominee Program

How long have worked with the HA? Are you still on probation?

The issue was that the majority of applicants were not truly healthcare jobs that the program was meant to target and many were general admin positions, cleaners, cooks, etc. within a healthcare setting. The goal of the program was to prioritize healthcare professionals, lab workers, etc. not people working in positions that happen to be located within a healthcare setting.

If that was the goal, the health authority stream would have limited NOCs/Occupations.

For healthcare professionals there is the Healthcare stream, which is separate. The provincial ministry of health decided to limit the BC PNP support, which should not be the case, if the province is unhappy about the BC PNP stream that they created themselves, they should change the eligibility.
What is outrageous is low skilled NOCs being granted support earlier this year, with no filter whatsoever, and skilled NOCs on teer 1, 2 and 3 not receiving support now due to the BC PNP having "too many applications non health related". Usual Canadian mismanagement and trying to fix their mistake with another bad policy.

Agree that policy was not thought through. Genuine health workers should still be supported by their employers.

This does not answer if the poster was on probation or or not.

Won’t change the fact that employer has clearly indicated won’t support application. This is a general policy.
Why are you so interested in this? Are you happy the poster isn’t getting the required support?
My comment has not been directed to you, but the busy body in you will not rest. I work at an HA and I have reasons for asking.

It’s also not a general policy as I know a few people in non clinical roles that got supported end of October.

Please let the original person my question was directed respond.

T for Thanks!

Have a chat with your manager about it? If not please do
already contacted HR and my Manager. both are unable to help :(. since there is a priority for clinical occupation.

Do you happen to know if there is any annual quota to support employees to file PNP under BC health authority stream?

I don’t know if it’s a fact but someone that worked with the ministry of health mentioned it passively.

I am not sure what is the way forward for me since my federal express entry CRS score is not sufficient and, should i submit my application under bc pnp tech and wait for the draw.

For your reference, my noc code is 21223 which is data based administrator ( in demand occupation under tech).

What other option you may suggest.
