Just about done.December 2023 applicants any update. My background check is still in progress since May.
Background still in progress. What’s your timeline?Hi any update for December 2023 application?
What is your status now? Im currently waiting for final decision from Ircc..
If you had read the details carefully, you would have realised that my file did not progress after the biometric examination. I didn't pay for it. How many people receive sponsor eligibility at month 11? Those who received a medical request after the biometric examination waited 7 months? Like everyone else, I want to know where I stand. What is wrong with that? It is my greatest right to follow my file among people who receive PRR in 3-4 months. I know that not everyone is in the same process. 10 months is the processing time, not 12 months. This is what it says on the IRCC Government site. I have already exceeded my processing time. If I am in that 20%, I wonder how much longer I have to wait and the experience of everyone here. Instead of making negative comments to people here, you can read and pass.I dunno why you sent so many urgent requests and ordered notes so early in the process. I genuinely hope you didnt pay your lawyer by the hour to do that as it was a big fat waste of money.
the standard is 80% of applications processed within the 12 months
that means 20% will go over. you arent even at 12 months yet.
looks like you are now in BGC and Eligibility. Its on IRCC to ensure you are elgible and yoru home country for the BGC.
no one can tell you what is going to happen. there is no information to even speculate.
If she were a good lawyer, do you think I would write here to understand the process? Unlike you, I find the GCMS notes and web forms useful, especially the notes. That's how we know what's going on. What process are we in? It gives us more information than the MP and the lawyer. I already know that I can hold on to the information given here and that my file will not be exactly the same as the information given by others. The time tunnels and experiences of the people here are a light for many people. He learns the unknown here. Also, this platform was created for this. If you are so comfortable, why did you create a membership on this platform? You can stretch your feet and wait for the PPR mail to arrive. My point was that we have no details on WHY its taking longer.
ie are you married, common law, living together, lived in different countries, been married before, sponsor is citzen, a PR etc have they sponsored someone before..... all of these things can cause longer processing yet you havent provided any of that information.
And yes, it is silly to request so many webforms and notes etc. The ircc is no different to any large organisation, the more fluff that clogs up the system, the more admin and manpower has to be routed to answering it.
It took 4 months for me to receive BIL and 6 for MIL.
long gone are the days of 4-5 months of PPR.
Again you could be one of the 20% - JUST LIKE I AM, that have exceeded that.
The issue is people look for comments that they can cling to like gospel, and get worked up when that doesnt come to fruition. Its best to accept it as it is, and if it exceeds standard processing time, you can enlist an MP to help. how good of an answer or follow up will depend on that MP.
If you have a qualified immigration lawyer they are in a far better position to answer any of your questions than anyone on this forum.
I think 10 months is Inland Outland is 12 months . I think it change recently as well. Just keep following up and see what happens, sometimes you won’t hear anything at all and then you start to get updates here and there. I’ve seen some that are longer than this , my friend took 2 years , so it depends . Everyone file is different. Background normally take the longest. Just keep following up with your lawyer. If you had read the details carefully, you would have realised that my file did not progress after the biometric examination. I didn't pay for it.
