Are you going back to work with same employer? If yes then won’t be issue but if you got permanently laid off and not returning back to work with same employer, you should wait for PNP office to reply back to you. Also send another email to PNP office again now .

me second email:
Many thanks for your response, and I should say yes, I started looking for a job yesterday and hope to find one soon. On the other hand, my wife is working at good company with a sufficed salary, so I don’t anticipate any financial issues. However, I wanted to ask if Is there a deadline I should be aware of? Also, what happens if I receive the final decision before finding a job?
their response:
The BC PNP may consider changes in your employment after you have been nominated if your new position continues to meet the requirements for nomination and if you can demonstrate that you continue to have the ability to economically establish in B.C. In making this determination, the BC PNP may consider, but are not limited to, the following factors:
- the circumstances regarding your termination or cessation of employment
- the amount of time you have been unemployed
- your ability to secure alternative employment with a BC PNP eligible employer
- whether you remain in B.C. and can continue to demonstrate the ability and intent to live, work and economically establish in B.C.
Additional information may be requested to assess whether the BC PNP can offer continued support of a nomination. The BC PNP may provide you with an opportunity to respond to any evidence or concerns raised during this assessment.
We cannot speak directly to any potential impacts the change of employment may have on your ongoing permanent residence application. We do not notify IRCC of changes of circumstances on behalf of nominees – you will be responsible for notifying IRCC of any changes. For inquiries regarding federal immigration programs and processes, please contact IRCC or visit
www.cic.gc.ca.
Please note that failing to inform us of a change in your employment status could lead to a withdrawal your nomination or could result in questions from IRCC when they process your application for permanent residency.
