@Miss bee if you remember i was asking to update my marital status and add spouce dependent on my application...
guess what?? Even though multiple webforms and direct call to IRCC they issued portal 2. i called again and they said wait for officer reply.. what should i do with this portal?
what should i do?? any suggestion??

If you are adding your spouse, you should reply to that email and explain your situation that you are adding spouse and children to your application. Also meanwhile send another webform and call them again and as agent on call to put note on application that you are adding spouse. Ask agent to send email to processing visa office.

hello i have a question, if our application was returned because application was "incomplete", once we reapply, can we use the same nomination certificate that we used on our first application? thanks

No you don’t need to provide any additional documents unless asked by officer working on your application. It’s never a good idea to submit extra documents with your application. Only provide documents mentioned in checklist.

I have a question if anybody can help.

I have a got the nomination for OINP.
Applied for PR through non express entry stream, while my PGWP is already expired now, I applied for closed work permit as well.

So my current status is Applied under both work permit and PR.

However, I have TRV stamp on my passport up to 2029. Now, I want to travel to US for couple of days by road. Do you think I can travel to US and re-enter Canada in this scenario?

With current waiting time it is normal dont worry, i think it will be there by end of this month it usually take 3-4 weeks after AOR for more updates

If it’s not expired, you can use same nomination certificate. If it’s expired, you have to ask PNP office to renew it .

No , you are still on Maintained status. TRV is just travel document while your actual status is Canada is Maintained status. If you left Canada on maintained status, you can loose your maintained status.
A person is allowed to leave Canada while in maintained status, however is strongly recommended not to do so due to the risk of complications, delays, refusals or cancellations of the application that is in process. If an individual’s application for renewal is refused while they are outside of Canada, they may be unable to return to Canada with a valid status, until they submit a new application outside Canada until they have obtained a new work permit.

Additionally, violating any of the conditions of implied or maintained status, can result in removal from Canada and a potential refusal on future applications. The rules can be complex to navigate so if any potential concerns are raised, individuals should seek legal advice if they have any questions.

This is pretty normal. Something AOR comes in few days after biometrics letter. If you didn’t receive anything in couple of weeks , you can call them and ask them to resend you email. However in meantime you can use same application number mentioned on biometrics letter to link your application to GC KEY account online .

This is pretty normal. Something AOR comes in few days after biometrics letter. If you didn’t receive anything in couple of weeks , you can call them and ask them to resend you email. However in meantime you can use same application number mentioned on biometrics letter to link your application to GC KEY account online .

If you don’t have employer restrictions on your nomination certificate, you can apply for BOWP .
