I am trying to replace my lost PR card now. And I am having difficulty to fill out the foam.

5.3 Accompanying Canadian citizen spouse outside Canada

check one(1) box, Yes or No, to tell us if you have been accompanying a Canadian citizen who is your spouse, common-law partner, or in the case of a child, your parent, while you were absent from Canada.

My kid is Canadian citizen and I brought him to Korea when I visit my family there. Does it mean that I need to check yes for this question? And provide proof of relationship??

thanks in advance

Your child is not considered in this question. So, is your spouse Canadian citizen and accompanying with you to Korea? If no, check "no".

If you parse the sentence about the box above, it applies for a situation where the CHILD is applying for a PR card renewal and accompanied their citizen-parent abroad.

Your answer should be No.
It's only for kids that are not citizens and accompanying citizen parents outside.
Not the other way.
