I realized I made a small typo. I had included a letter of explanation indicating the date my parents entered Canada. I accidentally wrote Aug 8 2019 in the letter(the correct date is Aug 12). But in the forms (correctly) I wrote August 12. I wrote in the letter that I had mentioned the date of entry in the forms too and included a copy of the cbsa stamp as proof. No AOR yet, how can I correct this.
This is an excerpt of the letter with my parents names redacted for privacy

“The start date of our visit was on August 8th 2019 and the end date of our visit is October 11th 2024 (as listed on the most current visitor record issued from IRCC) for both myself and my wife. This information is listed on form IMM 0008 (Generic application form to Canada) for both myself and my wife . Our status in Canada has been kept lawfully maintained with IRCC for the entire duration of our visit. I have enclosed the below items in the additional supporting documents section for myself and my wife for your review if required:
A) Entry stamp from the Canada Border Services Agencyindicating the start date of our visit.
B) Visitor records from IRCC showing lawfully maintained status.
Please let me know if there are any questions.”
When did you submit the PGP application? I did on 29th July (read my panic striken posts above or the previous pages :()and still nothing and I am so paranoid I don't even want to look at any doc, form related to our application which probably is a wrong thing but...
Just an opinion could be wrong but If I was in your situation the only way I would calm my nerves is that cover letter or eplanation letter is not a legal IRCC form hence there is a scope of granting some grace on part of the IRCC agents because in their forms and the proofs the dates reads correct it is not the other way round.

PGP processing can take years and IRCC decided to have a second draw this year which boggles my mind as they try to reduce newcomers and given our healthcare crisis. Just be happy you got selected in a surprise draw and be patient.

Hi All,

I got an email from CIC a week ago which was the AOR. I had two questions:

1) They have requested for PCC, passport/ travel document, updated residential address, email address. We have got the PCC ready and can submit today. However, for the remaining 3 items should I still submit documentation although there are no changes?
(Specifically)
"
Passport/Travel Document: If the principal applicant and/or their dependant family
member (if applicable) have passports that have expired or will expire within the next 12
months, please have them apply for and submit a copy of their new passport with a validity
of 12 months or more. Please ensure to include the biographic page of the passport. - I provided the latest passport information which has 9 years validity left.
• Updated residential address: You are required to provide the current residential address
for the principal applicant and their dependant family member (if applicable). You must
report any changes to their address, telephone number(s) and email address immediately
throughout the processing of your application. Failure to provide updates may result in
processing delays. - The address in the application has not changed
• E-mail Address: Submit a valid email address for the Principal Applicant and/or their
Authorized Representative. This email address will be used to communicate with the
Principal Applicant and their dependant family member (if applicable) throughout the
processing of their application. - The email address we provided in the application is correct.
"

2) I'm unable to link the application I have tried providing information using all options - What is the best way to troubleshoot this? or Will contacting IRCC help? If so, what's the email or phone number?

Thanks in advance for the help.
A

I have included an explanation letter stating nothing has been updated since the application submission along with the PCC. I sent the documents via email last Wednesday. I called CIC on Friday to confirm if they received the documents. The agent on the phone acknowledged that the PCC and the letter were received and added to my application.

Got a letter today that says the following even though we provided birth certificates for the applicant and the sponsor. What is the issue and what do we send back?

Or does this mean that we need to provide the ORIGINAL birth certificate? how do we do that, mail it in? And who is it for, the sponsor or the applicant?

Your application does not meet the requirements for processing as the following item(s)
is/are missing or incomplete:

• Proof of Relationship (SPR): Provide your original birth certificate issued by the
Philippines Statistics Authority (PSA) and printed on PSA paper. If this cannot be
provided then submit your baptismal certificate, hospital birth record, permanent school
record and birth certificate issued by the local civil registrar. NOTE: The documents you
provide must be legally registered with the PSA and be clearly legible.
