- Got 22 credits out of required 120 to graduate just through my A Level (12th standard) Grades
The reason for rejection:
• I am not satisfied that you will leave Canada at the end of your stay as required by paragraph R216(1)(b) of the IRPR (https://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/regulations/sor-2002-2271 section-216.html).
I am refusing your application because you have not established that you will leave Canada, based on the following factors:
The purpose of your visit to Canada is not consistent with a temporary stay given the
details you have provided in your application.
• Based on the financial documents submitted, I am not satisfied that you have sufficient and available financial resources to pay the tuition fees for the program of studies that you intend to pursue and to pay for living expenses while in Canada.
After posting this on reddit, I was able to get the following information:
- I didn’t have affidavits signed by my parents saying that they’re gonna pay for me.
- I didn’t have my dad’s salary slips.
- I didn’t have my dad’s bank statements.
- My SOP had red flags that made it unclear whether my immigration was temporary. It also didn’t properly explain whether I had the intention to study in my home country. I will be working on that.
Are there some specifics I should target?
