Looks like you have passed almost all stages on application except background check. At this point i can say that it can take around another 2-4 months.

Hi Miss Bee. I applied for OINP - International Student Stream and my status changed from DIP to Additional Processing Time Needed. Is it normal? I am still on the expected processing time (80 days since the application was submitted), and never heard someone mentioning this message. The reports I’ve seen from other applicants are either moving from DIP to Nominated, or from DIP to Intent to Refuse, or when additional documents (ADR) are requested. Does this message mean something good or bad?

Hi All,

I called IRCC today to check my application status. Why has my "Eligibility" been stuck on "In Progress" for so long? My timeline and offices are as follows.

It’s not bad sign. They need more time to look into your application. This doesn’t mean it will be refused. Wait for few more weeks and you will get nomination.

Hello @Miss bee ,

hope you are doing well. Lately I'm seeing constant ghost updates on the application status tracker, with seemingly no changes to the application / gcms notes. Does this mean the application is in move? odd that I don't see gcms updates

Yes ghost update means you have passed any assessment or there must be something coming. It’s usually good sign .

It looks like your timeline is progressing at a normal pace, considering the current processing times. Based on the timelines we're seeing, it seems like things are moving as expected. I think you should be receiving the FD and P1 soon, maybe within the next month—possibly even earlier. Hang in there!

Don’t worry it’s normal. It can take 2-6 months if you have passed eligibility and security on your application.

@Miss bee my question may sound silly and I apologize in advance.
How to properly upload the photos of the main applicant and dependents? Do I upload the front photo first, then a separate file for back? So If I do that and there’s three of us in the family then I upload 6 files all in all? Thanks

Combine front and back pictures to one pdf and upload for each individual. Single pdf for both sides.

PR application on Maintained Status

I am going to submit Non-Express Entry PNP application soon. But my spouse is currently on Maintained (Visitor Record) Status. No Idea about the decision. Can I submit the application keeping her on maintained status? If yes, then what should I write down the "Status Expiry Date" on the application?, as it doesn't have any. Thanks for your input!
