"I am an asylum seeker in the US, I also have TPS and my wife has protected status in Canada. We have Canadian children and grandchildren. Our family is currently divided, as two of our daughters reside in the US. One of them is a US citizen. Given our family circumstances, I would like to know if I am eligible to apply for a Super Visa."

You are eligible to apply assuming your Canadian children are adults and meet the income requirements. You are unlikely to be approved based on your status in the US and your wife's status in Canada. However you can certainly apply and try.

Thank you for your attention. Just two more things that I forgot. First, I have a process in Canada that is underway. Once my wife becomes a resident, she can apply for me, but I have to wait more than 3 years. That's what they told her, that's why I need a super visa. Second, could it be a tourist visa?

Once your wife has PR status, it can take two years for you to be able to come to Canada. So yes, it's entirely possible it may take three years for your PR application to be approved and for you to be able to come to Canada.

The answer for the tourist visa is basically the same as a super visa. You can certainly apply but your chances of approval will be low unfortunately.

Ok, I understand, and in case I wanted to take the risk, would there be a way that you or someone you recommend to me to process it and how much would it cost me? Thank you in advance.
