Indian Passport Renewal from BLS Toronto

Hey guys, I had applied for passport renewal on Aug 26, 2024 at BLS Montreal and as of 1 oct, it is -Your passport has been printed and being forwarded to Embassy/Consulate. The Embassy/Consulate will contact you once they receive the passport for dispatch.
but on BLS website it still shows-Processing at High Commission since 30 days.
Any idea how many more days will they take to dispatch it?

1. "Passport application along with fee details have been received. The same is under processing at the Embassy/Consulate. to another status? how long after did your status changed.

My status is same as above since September 16.

Hi,
Once they check the details and find it is good to go then they update after 4-5 days to processing at high commission until the last stage of the application where the passport comes from India.
I would suggest tracking it via the inspect method. It gives latest update from start to end of the process.

My status changed after 7-8 days from what you mentioned above to processing at High Commission and it is still the same on BLS website while from the inspect method form portal 6 link , the update was latest showing that my passport is received at high commission.

this status i wrote is shown on the portal6 website and i am also checking inspect mode , that shows the same status, no update since Sept 16..

It is normal to have this status shown, I think now you will get an update about the print initiation straight.

Applied-Aug 26
Reached BLS Ottawa- 5 Sept.
Review for correction and correct info - Sept 8
Sent to Ottawa Embassy- Sept 11
Passport Print initiated, QC passed- September 29(INDIA)
Reached Ottawa Embassy-October 2
Reached BLS Montreal- October 4
Delivered by Purolator- October 7
Time took -40 days/5 Weeks.

Can someone please tell is "Personal Particular Form" mandatory for Passport reissue at BLS.

Can someone please share photo specifications as the checklist form is not having it. I understand that we need to take 2 photos, one should be pasted on application form and what about the other?

No , it is not mandatory, neither do they ask for it.
Photo specs are- 51 by 51 mm or you can say 2 by 2 inch.
1 you paste on the form and keep the other one with you.

no. they donot see any stamps on the back but has to be a latest picture.
