Very confused about Parents PR application

Hello Everyone,

My parents received the letter to submit their passport to the nearest VAC for stamping on September 16, 2024. My parents already have a super visa and they were scheduled to fly to Canada on September 17, 2024. I submitted a web form explaining my parents will be in Canada from September 17- October 8, 2024 and if they can do a virtual landing, I received email to create their PR Portal account, submit photos etc., today I received this email from IRCC:

"Dear client,
Upon reviewing your application, it has come to our attention that you and your dependent are scheduled to depart Canada on October 8, 2024.
Unfortunately, we are unable to grant approval for a virtual landing at this time. Considering the processing timelines, it is unlikely that you and your dependent will receive your PR Card before your departure from Canada. Please note that your physical presence in Canada is mandatory to complete the entire process.
Please note that your PR portal account will be suspended temporarily. We kindly request that you inform us of your return date to Canada so we can issue an RFV letter. This letter will facilitate your landing upon entry to Canada."

I emailed them back and advised that they can extend their stay to October 30, 2024 and haven't heard back.

I am worried if we don't hear back in the next couple of days, we won't be able to reschedule their flight. My question is in case they fly back to India on October 8th, 2024 will it cause problems in their PR, can IRCC cancel the PR?

I am scared and worried. Please help.

This is the downside of the virtual landings, the timelines can be hard to predict.

I would call IRCC and see if they can submit their passports abroad (i.e. back home) to get the visas (which might take 2-4 weeks). The downside with this is that they would not become PRs until they come to Canada the next time, and their would likely be some limited period of validity of the visas (only guessing, but 3-6 months? you can ask about this).

This shouldn't be a big problem and no big reason to worry.
