LMIA from Quebec timeline (inside Canada)

Hello,

I applied to LMIA only ESDC (Inside Canada) in mid April and got some response from an officer in mid August (almost 4 months) asking for more employer information. Took about 10 days to provide the information.
At the end of August applied to CAQ and LMIA application to MIFI (QUEBEC).

I was told by my lawyer that MIFI and Service Canad both will check and give the decision on the application? Is it true?
Also, any idea how long MIFI will take to give an update to Service Canada.? If anyone can share the timeline it will be appreciated.

Impossible to say how long it will take and with Canada and Quebec getting much more strict when it comes to temporary permits that also maybe slowing down the response to your WP application.
