Dear Members, Kindly Suggest.

We (Me & Wife) have Biometric appointment schedule for 19th Sept 2024, whereas my Brother in Law wedding reception is on 29th Sept 2024.
Is there any fair chance to get my Visa before that as only 10 dys left.

If Not before that 29th Sept , Is there any chance to get visa on same file even wedding reception date expired ?

Kindly help.

Where are you applying from? Not a chance as you still need to be approved (background and eligibility checks) and if approved then send in passport for stamping.

We have successfully done with our Biometric process today 19-09-24

But my brother-in Law have filled last name as LNU ( Last Name Unknown ) in online application for wife as she doesn't have any second name,
By VFS staff its suggestion to raise a webform on IRCC to correct the name , They suggested to keep blank first name coloum and fill the name in 2nd Name..
Is this correct or misleading information ?

Pls. suggest
Webform can be filled by who has the access to application form , or I can also raise a webform for correction from my end ?

They signed the forms for you to be representative, correct? If so, you send in webform. Would go with VAS staff suggestion’s to change name because now it is LNU as her last name.

No, we have assigned him as representative to our application by signing a form IMM5457

So ask your representative to send in the webform. This will delay your processing further because you are changing a last name. Having the correct name on your application is very important because if approved her passport would be stamped with the last name LNU. Not sure why he would do that. What to do with having no last name is right in the information on applying for a TRV. It is the first question!!

Hopefully your brother filled out the rest of your information correctly.
