Thats great, you got a visa before conference, in my case conference date is passed and i still did not get my visa ,just out of curiosity had you attached flight ticket with the application, because that was the only thing i had not attached.
No i didn't attach my flight tickets or hotel bookings. But what might have helped is that the organising team followed up on my application, as i am presenting on two topics, it takes a dent on the schedule. Maybe that expedited the process.

but its a black box. Cant say with certainty what helps. They used to have less than a week processing time before the Corona crisis from what i hear, Now the time is incredibly long and decisions are a bit sporadic.
