Hello @Miss bee , I just had a weird update to my application and wondered if you can help me understand what it may mean?
So my last update was on April 10, where I received PAL and eligibility passed in Winnipeg VO
the application was passed to Windsor VO 4 weeks ago
This week the IRCC agent and the portal said that eligibility was passed again, on September 3rd.

Is this normal? how does eligibility pass twice?

You should get a new Job letter from your current employer mentioning your job duties and pay and all other stuff and signed by him . They are working on your eligibility section of application. You should get letter current dated .
@Miss bee

Do i need to submit the current job letter only or all the job i have done in past??
i have submitted this document having information Job letter of current employer mentioning your job duties and pay and all other stuff. but it was digitally signed does this make difference?

Yes this is normal. When they switch offices and officer, this usually happens.

To be eligible for a BOWP, you must

  • live in Canada (and intend to live outside Quebec) at the time you apply for your BOWP
    • You can leave Canada while we process your application.
    • However, if you leave Canada after your work permit expires, you can’t work until your new application is approved.
  • either
  • be the principal applicant on your permanent residence application
  • have no employment restrictions as a condition of your nomination
Spouse of primary applicant is not eligible for BOWP?

Background check
We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information.

Final decision
Your application is in progress. We will send you a message once the final decision has been made.

Not to mention the year-long BCPNP nomination process for my wife, who is the primary applicant. The issue we’re facing is that we're stuck in the background check stage. My wife has cleared hers, but mine has been under review by CBSA since November 16 2023. Despite filing notes and my history as a Police Officer in Brazil being clean, there’s been no progress. All our previous visa applications were approved without issues, yet our PR application is now stalled. CBSA requested an additional 60 days and has since stopped responding, update: they responded after 63 days asking for my wife's Driver licensee to process our request..m Our process has already taken 1 year and 7 months. I have a few questions and concerns:

1. Is there anything we can do to expedite or resolve this situation?

2. My wife’s employer, who is supporting her PR application, is facing financial difficulties, making it hard for her to keep her job. While it’s understandable to require employment during the typical 6-12 month processing time, expecting immigrants to stay employed indefinitely (years) is unreasonable. We fear that even though everything else in our profile is approved, if she loses her job due to prolonged delays, we might lose our PR. Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you!
Unfortunately you can’t do anything to fasten process.
If she loses her job when PR is approved, you don’t need to worry about anything. You can happily move forward and enjoy your life;) . If she loses her job while application is being processed, she needs to find new job and have to submit post nomination request to inform PNP office about job change which is fairly simple to do . Make sure she starts finding new job asap before she gets laid off from this job .

Hi, I applied in April. They returned my application in August because there was missing information. I resubmitted it 3 weeks ago. Is it okay that I didn’t change the dates on the form? I just added the missing information and then I resubmitted my application.

Yes you should put new dates . Also make sure your nomination is not expired yet .
