Hi, I’ve completed all my courses and plan to apply for the OINP Masters Graduate Stream.

When filling out the graduation date on the EOI, I noticed it doesn't accept a future date, but my convocation is in November when I’ll officially receive my degree.

For those who have applied, did you submit your application before your convocation, or do I need to wait until November?

You have to wait until you have been issued a course completion certificate. Ideally, once your degree has been issued, you should apply then.

I got my ITA on the same date.
It's still under assessment!

i got portal 2 on 16th August, 2024, and updated all information on the same day. but, i am still waiting for e-COPR. it's been more than 20 business days.
does anyone have any idea about the delay?

Convocation is just a formality. In reality you've received the degree the day you got your official transcript online. Graduation date is not convocation date.

It was all going well but it's been in decision in progress since last 20-25 days, what's your status?

It's the same situation for me. I know other people who are kind of in a similar boat.

Do you know if somebody raised a webform and got a reply and also how did you show proof of funds? Was it by job or just liquid funds?

 

[Scientist]

Yeah, but they reply with the same answer that processing time can vary and we should wait till we get the decision. I think as long as you provide proper documentation regarding the funding it is fine showing it through your job or savings.
