Hi,
I am in Ontario on WP since 2.5 yrs and due to age issue, not getting CRS score beyond 450. Hence, would like to explore PNP options in Alberta. If we apply under tech stream PNP in Alberta, one of my friend mentioned it requires employer documents. Is that so? are there any streams which are not dependent on employer letters. pls advise. thank you

The tech stream is closed as it reached quota. AINP programs are closed right not and new process hasn’t been announced yet. So look at other provinces. Most require a job offer. SINP may be an option but NOC and score have to be selected, and may not be high enough if don’t have family in the province. Learn French if you want to increase scores.

I have a job offer but it if opt for EOI for oinp, I heard that we need to submit employer form in addition to job offer. Is that so? If so, do we have any other category to apply without employer form. Pls suggest. Thank you

For OINP non-EE streams like Foreign Worker then you need the employer to submit the form for job offer. It is mandatory. OINP score and NOC must be selected.

Express Entry - OINP (Human Capital Stream) doesn’t require a job offer but CRS and NOC must be selected.

The Alberta tech stream, when it was open, also required employers to fill out forms too.

If you really want PR, then learn French to CLB 7. If you don’t know any French then you need to immerse yourself in the language for 9-12 months.

Realistically in most provinces it may be impossible to get PR without support from your employer in that province. The PNP scores have skyrocketed in most NOCs as so many seek PR at the same time.
