does anyone know how to properly withdraw application as sponsor?

I'm a bit confused.

I used the IRCC webform that I googled then chose the withdraw/cancel option.

I chose principal applicant then entered my info/application #/UCI.

I see a section saying you have to attach a Withdrawal of Citizenship Application (CIT0027). This confuses me cause I am applying to sponsor my husband to Canada for PR not citizenship. Do I sign the form and attach?

Does anyone know how to properly withdraw a family class sponsorship application as sponsor?

Looks like you selected withdraw citizenship app. Not sure if there is a special form here for withdrawal of sponsorship app; you may have to write a letter and submit by webform.
