Do you have any idea the reason why your application sent to comprehensive check? Like does your application have military service records or criminal history etc?

Yes, I am currently working in a country which is considered as sensitive by IRCC so I was quite sure that my file will face comprehensive SS, anyway, in such situation even it is frustrating as hell but nothing to do just wait and see.

The ADR letter said that they wanted all the information since my spouse was 18 years old. We think it was related to higher education because it did not fit into the regular personal activities for the past 10 years (it was more than 10 years ago).
Security Screening is also likely due to education - my spouse is a radio-engineer (only education, work is in another field). I read that everything radio-, aero-, avia- related is a trigger for Comprehensive Security Screening. So now we just wait.
