I'm writing to know why my visitor visa is always getting refused. I've come to the point of considering it discrimination. I provided EVERY single document I have. I have bank statements of $20,000, property in my country, reason for visiting is to see my niece who I never saw yet as of this day. My niece is 5. It's been a long time to see my sister and her in Canada. I was planning to visit for just a week. All I need to do is to see them. I'm considering a lawyer and possibly sue. Is this a path I should take or what is the likelihood of it getting rejected again?

So what did GCMS notes say for each refusal. For each refusal did you try and address reasons? What changed with each application. Applying 5 times in 2 years shows desperation to come to Canada in the minds of IRCC.

- Ties to return: If you are single you don’t have family ties to return. It is difficult to get a visa then. So ties to return are business, job letter with approved leave, income property etc. Property is not really a tie.
- Travel: UK, US, NZ and AUS
- Funds: $20k is not a lot if that is all your savings.

You cannot sue the government. A TRV is not a right but a privilege so government has no obligation to approve it. If you want to hire a lawyer and file for Judicial Review you can try. Your file is seen by a judge and if judge feels that your last application was not fairly assessed then it goes to another officer for review. It can still be refused. This process costs around $10k if you hire a lawyer so half of your money.

You can’t sue for something you don’t have a legal right to.
If seeing your sibling & niece is imperative then possibly they meet you outside Canada

How did your sister get status in Canada ?

What is your citizenship? Do you live in your home country? Do you have a well paying job in your home country? If your parents are alive are they visiting Canada? Do you have other siblings and if so have they moved abroad? How did your sibling obtain status in Canada and what is their status?

what are the refusal reasons for all 5 instances ? and what reasons you provided while re-applying each time ?
