not required to update/include spouse name in passport. continue with existing passport. For proof of relationship - please see the checklist- it has all the information on what information u need to provide to establish proof of relationship.

I see the new updated processing time for India TRV - 112 days. When I applied on Aug 12, it was 52 days. Just need to wait and watch. Approve / reject will happen as per officer's decision.
