Travelling to India while Citizenship application is in-progress

I'm travelling to India late September 2024. I submitted my application sometime back in Feb/Mar 2024. Today I got the invitation to take the citizenship test. Should I postpone the test when I come back? Or is it possible to give the test, travel to India, and then attend the ceremony?

You can give the test from outside Canada too. You did not mention when you are coming back.

Late September is more than a month away. Just pass it before you leave, and wait for the next steps after you come back.
You're allowed to travel while your application is being processed after all.
