Hello good people here in this forum. I have a very big problem right now. My mom arrived October 2021 and i did not extend here stay knowing that she is automatically qualified to stay here for 5years straight as per new rules for super visa. I did not know about this that only applications who applied year 2023 are qualified. Resulting my mom is now overstaying here in Canada for 10months.
My mom is leaving Canada soon for 2months vacation. Worried what will happen upon returning here in Canada after 2 months.
is there anyone here know what they will gonna do if you overstay here and what will happen to you upon returning?

Please respect my question as I really don’t know.
I am pregnant right now and this is causing me too much stress and anxiety.

Really is impossible to say as it's at the discretion of the CBSA officer she encounter. They may say nothing or they may refuse here entry. My $0.02......always be careful how you (or your mom) word things. She's not leaving Canada to go on vacation.....she's a visitor to Canada, not a resident. Words can influence people's decisions.

I mean we are going vacation and she is coming with us and planning to return with us after 2months. I honestly didn’t know and notice about the new super visa 5year stay rules.
I just found out and read about the rules last night. I already called ircc this morning but no clear answers from them. I am so worried as i want my mom to be with me here when i deliver my baby.

Yet again you seem to be missing the point. Your mother is a visitor to Canada so even with a supervisa has the ability to be denied entry to Canada anytime she attempts to enter. The longer she remains in Canada without status the more serious the potential impact on her ability to visit Canada in the future. If she leaves Canada there are no guarantees she will be able to visit in the future so she should be planning on returning home to reestablish ties to her home country. Is your family travelling to your mother’s home country on vacation? Supervisas are meant to visit not live in Canada.
