It may not work if your application hasn’t been even looked at yet. I was able to link my application on the day AOR was generated. Alternatively, if you’re well in between the application process, make sure you’re entering information exactly the same way as you filled out the application forms. If you filled the forms with CAPS on, the same thing needs to happen while linking the application to the portal. Weird but not sure why is it setup that way.

I have tried that too. My parents completed their medicals 2 weeks ago so defintely the app is in progress. Just unsure about linking the GCkey and the app. So annoying.

Call and talk to an agent. They can help you link. I understand the frustration as you don’t know where you are until you get an email from them.

What would be the next step assuming parents are in Canada? Do parents need to leave Canada and re-enter to get PR card?

I think they need to get a Confirmation of Permanent Residence first.

hi Tariq, try entering correct number of persons in the number of family members box along with other information as for me it was 3 but I was entering 5 including my kids.

1 - Sponsor + applicant and spouse = 3

2- sponsor+ co signer + applicant and spouse = 4

Yes, that’s the current step in progress. I wanted to know about the next step, as I am also in the same situation. My understanding was that if parents are in Canada, they will get eCOPR and no passport stamping was required, and no need to leave and re-enter Canada, but this seems to be wrong.

Hi - I need an urgent help to confirm signature requirements for IMM1344 - Application to Sponsor. I am confused about the correct way of signing the form.
1. Do we need to print the form and physically sign the form and upload it including the barcode page??
or
2. Digitally sign the form, click validate and then upload the form.

If I digitally sign the form and upload it, I noticed that the barcode page has disappeared in the online version I uploaded to the portal.
Please let me know what is the correct way of uploading the form. Need to submit my application today.

What does this mean? Medical was passed July 29th. We submitted PCC without them requesting a week ago but the online account does not show anything about PCC.

Are we close to the finish line? Vancouver Office is processing our file.
