All my assessments were completed/passed in May, but I haven't received a final decision yet. My file has also been transferred to Montreal. Is anyone else experiencing a similar situation?How long they take to make the final decision and next steps ?

pls advise how did u know that file transferred monteral ; how can i check my status where is tands ?

nothing and timeline now jump to 39months and i am almost 35 months and seems get longer ; i dont know how ill be end ; any update form otehr

The quickest way is making a phone call to the IRCC customer services.
If you wanna get detailed information about your case and check if you are in the security stage, I suggest you to make an ATIP request to the IRCC, CBSA and CSIS.

I just got the response from the law firm that my work permit has been refused. The reason provided the officer is doubtful about my return to the parent country. I'm confused, this is actually a work permit based on the startup, how could they reject? Any help or guidance in this regards?

Did you return to your home country and then apply for the extension of your work visa, or did you apply for the extension of your work visa before returning to your home country?

Hey folks-

I'm stuck on one major confusion - are we required to move to Canada after lodging application? i.e. apply work permit, move and incorporate the company?

Or, are we allowed to wait until PR is granted, and then move, incorporate, start business? Did any of you wait outside Canada during the whole application process?

If so, how can we satisfy "Business progress" request if asked during the process?

Will really really appreciate if someone can share their experience so far.. I really don't want to move before PR is finalized, but willing to start things remotely like incorporating the company, etc.

And I wonder if the incubator will object waiting for PR process to finish (before moving)?

Any answers? Thanks so much.
