This is great, your child PR received in 6 months time... Does medical applicable for child whose age less than 14? My son is US born in Oct 2022. I will be back to US end of NOV and planning to apply his PR.

US or Canada in November. Application started in November so longer than 6 months. The sponsor needs to plan on being in Canada during the entire application process. Yes medical is required.

National identity: just write N/A or similar and include a short note that as an infant, she has no national identity card or document other than birth certificate and passport.

Activity: doesn't matter really, write student or unemployed if you have to.

Travel history: well, just provide her travel history. It will be pretty short.

Should I upload digital photocopy or scanned copy?
How to upload both side of photo?
In PDF formate or JPG?

Do I need to fill Representative form for my 3 months old daughter ?
can I put my name or my 3 months old daughter in Concern form?

Thanks a lot..

Child may also not qualify for things like health coverage while awaiting sponsorship. Depends on the province.
Hello there. PLease help me understand what medical insurance (private) can be taken that could take care of small child's immunizations and routine doctor visits while we wait on the PR approval for the child? Many thanks.

Unless it is being offered by an employer when moving you should plan to pay out of pocket.

Doesn’t typically work that way . It’s not like the States . If you’re not covered by the province, it’s out of pocket

Plus many Doctors aren’t set up to process insurance plans . It’s cash up front and you deal with getting your money back from your insurer , not the doctor

Yes, baby was added to application. She was verified for medical, birth certificate and passport. But we marked in un-accompanying during application. So we both got COPR. Later we raised webform request to add baby as accompanying but no proper response from a month.

If COPR does not carry baby name, then baby is not entitled to be granted PR. Parent(s) must be physically present in Canada to apply for baby PR. It usually takes about 6 months. But until then the baby can only be in Canada as a visitor.
