Super visa extension

Hi, have one question about my mom super visa.
She is in Canada right now. Her visa and old passport is about to expire in august but she has another new passport that valid for 10 years. My question is do I need to apply for extension ? Can you reply me please, thanks kindly.

She can apply to extend her visit by applying for a visitor record. She can only apply for a new supervisa when she leaves and wants to return.
