I already posted a question about my mother's passport and the screw up that we experience.
Anyhow, we submitted her application on July 2015 and got her Super Visa on August 25, 2015. (That was fast)
So basically, my mom got issued her super visa and her old passport got stamped with her super visa.
Funny part was she was renewing her passport during the super visa application process; when suddenly we received a 30 day noticed from CIC to submit her original copy of passport to one of the VAC in Manila Philippines.
Unfortunately, as usual crappy weird things happen when you renew paperwork in the Philippines.
We requested to express her passport renewal, only to be told, on pick up date that their stupid passport machine is broken????
How funny is that. With the 30 days coming up, we couldn't ask for extension since nobody from CIC would reply to our inquiries asking for more time to submit the passport to one of the VAC. So we had no choice but to submit her old passport to VAC in Manila; otherwise, her application gets declined.
In short, her super visa got stamped on her old passport which is expiring on next year October 2016.
I was told, she just needs to travel with both old and new passport - so problem solved for that one. Thanks guys who gave me an answer for this.
Here is our main issue or concern.
Her super visa states "Multiple Entry" which is valid from July 7, 2015 until October 10, 2016.
Is she allowed to apply for extension beyond the super visa expiry date of October 10, 2016? We are hoping my mom can stay for at least 2 years.
Or do we have to do the whole process again and that she has to go back home and submit the whole application.
