Need help with Visitor Visa File for my in-laws

We are preparing a file for my in-laws to visit us in Canada. I work full-time in the IT sector, while my wife is currently not working.
As we prepare the file, I have a few questions:

1. Who should send the invitation letter? Should it be me, my wife, or should we both sign the letter?
2. Who should be mentioned in the section "Who is Inviting You?"? Only me, my wife, or both of us?

I am confused here. Kindly help.

You can both invite them but since they are your in laws, you wife should be the principle inviter. The invitation letter should be written by your wife but she can say "My husband and I are inviting my parents ...."

As for the question, write your wife's name first in that section and add yours as the second inviter.
