‼ Please Answer ‼

Applied for Supervisa from outside Canada.
Applied On : 28/May/2024
Passport request: 20/June/2024

IRCC has put maiden(before marraige) name on passport request letter instead on what’s on passport. Rest of the details including UCI no. and Application no., address all info are correct.

However, initial application submission letter has correct name.

What should I do? My agent sent webform but it will take long & only 30 days to send passport for visa stamping.

If we have representative on file, can applicant himself send webform for inquiry or only representative can do?

Applied from Trinidad. Seems the processing time has increased. I saw it is now taking 34 days to process applications. I haven’t received any updates since May 1, the date after biometrics was updated. Not sure what is going on at the visa office. Have you tried raising a web form to get an update?

Hey Sherine,

I did submit a web form back in early June and received the following response:

Dear Sir/ Madam,

This is in response to your recent enquiry, forwarded to the Port-of-Spain office of Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.
Your application is under review. Should we require additional information or documentation from you we will contact you online.
You can learn how to check your status here: How to check your application status - Canada.ca
Processing times are difficult to predict, and will vary based on:
  • Type of application submitted;
  • Volume of applications received;
  • How easily we can verify information;
  • How well and how quickly you respond to any requests or concerns;
  • Whether the application is complete.
Processing times change depending on the number of applications received and may change during the processing of your application.

Please consult the processing times tool for further details. This section is updated weekly, so check often to get the latest information.

We trust this information will be of assistance.

Did you submit one?

I did not receive any response from webform submitted in last week of May. Webform goes into IRCC's blackhole.
I contacted MP on June 22. MP’s assistant reached out to me on June 26 and got my IRCC visitor visa delayed details. And I got passport request on July 9. I guess my MP might have played a role in getting my visa application approved. Passport submitted on Jul 16 for stamping. Waiting for passport now. I hope I get it by Jul 31. Thank you everyone.

Yes, I am a PR. Yes, 6 lakhs is around 9k CAD. Dad's leave was approved for 3 months. The doctor's note just mentioned that I am pregnant and doctor suggest that parent's here will help to reduce my stress and makes me more comfortable and she strongly supports bringing parents here. The proof of parents leaving was shown by showing the property in India and dad's job. nothing else..
Hi,

My case is exactly the same with respect to Parent’s invitation. But I have not yet received a response on my application. (Applied in Jun).
Curious to know: -
1) Did your parents have any travel history?
2) Did you reapply and got approved the 3rd time?
