Processing time for Nigeria is 173 days.
Thanks for the info.
What do you think is the best way to go about the dates? He had filled in June 21 - July 13, 224.
He is thinking to either withdraw the application or change the dates but he is worried as it may affect his planned annual leave because he is working with the government.
If he wishes to change the dates, how is it done? I mean to change his travel date to later in the year. Is there a form to fill?

Thanks

Applied in China
April 12th
Bio completed April 16
Received passport request June 14th
Estimated processing time/completion date is still blank with no updates. My eligibility has had no updates in the past two months either. Kind of strange that I hadn't received any other messages or updates before the passport request.

But for my father who is 70+ I did pay a week back. I just want to make sure that I am not missing out anything.
Got approved for my father:

Background check: in process on tracker and IRCC portal

Hi Everyone,

I'm a PR in Canada, and I sponsored PR for my wife. Since the spousal PR process takes nearly a year, I applied for a visitor visa for her, which is almost complete. I'm now looking to book her flight to Canada.

I've heard from others in similar situations that immigration officers sometimes ask to see a return ticket to avoid concerns about dual intent. However, dual intent is allowed in spousal cases, according to an announcement made in May 2023.

For example, someone who traveled to Toronto in January was asked the same question. She showed her AOR letter for the spousal visa to prove her dual intent and that she planned to settle.

My question is: should I book a return ticket and cancel it later just to be safe, or is it unnecessary? Please share your journey if you went through similar process.

Thanks in advance,
Ravi

URGENT ‼ URGENT ‼ URGENT ‼

Applied for Supervisa from outside Canada.
Applied On : 28/June/2024
Passport request: 20/July/2024

Here’s the catch: Name is different on application submission letter & passport request letter, rest of the details including Biometric numbers and application, address all info same.

Applicant’s spousal name is part of given name but IRCC put applicant’s father name instead.

What should I do? I sent webform but it will take long & only 30 days timelimit to send passport for visa stamping.

They don’t talk on call for outland visitor visa application.

OR Should I just send for stamping?
