What is the public policy about? I submitted my paper application to renew PGWP due to passport expiration, meaning it's been more than 7 months till today and still don't get any update, only says in process from day one has not changed. You've been waiting almost the same as me, but what is the policy about?
My PGWP expired in November 2023. I do fall under PGWP extension public policy announced during April 2023 ( for PGWP expiring in 2023 meeting the required conditions) . I should have applied online, did a paper application instead.
Greetings, I tried sending it to the adress and they said it wasn't delivered. It might be because i didn't say signature required at the delivering stage? When u tried to link the paper application online did you do it with an application number?
No application number cause I didn’t have one. Since it’s on paper, but the rest of the data should match what they received and it will say something like we found your application, and only then you’ll get an application number

Has anyone here submitted an online application for the Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP) after renewing their passport to get the remaining year, along with a paper application? I'm having trouble linking my paper application to my IRCC online account.
The IRCC agent suggested mailing another application as they can't find my application in the system. I'm considering applying online and then raising a webform to withdraw the paper application. Does that work? I need to submit this application before August 11,2024.
Has anyone gone through a similar process? Any advice or experiences to share would be greatly appreciated!

@shefi: I thought about it when I didn't see my application to link and I told the IRCC agent I was going to do one online and he said don't because for renewal for passport it has to be on paper only and that most likely my online one will get rejected. On the other hand many people said they have done it online, but since the IRCC agent said that to me I preferred not to do it online. Maybe call again IRCC and ask them, but If I were you I will do paper again, just to be on the save side and pay this time pay the mail service with received signature, then you can track if they actually receive it or no.
