Yes I did but nothing productiveIf it is past 24 months did you contact the local MP office?
Hmmm and you requested GCMS notes too?Yes I did but nothing productive
Yes in February 2024 and contacted local MP tooHmmm and you requested GCMS notes too?
So is the application stuck in some security screening or is Vancouver office sleeping on it?Yes in February 2024 and contacted local MP too
Thank you for your clarification! My guess, is that CBSA screening is not necessarily longer but that having a case sent to CSIS delays the whole file and once CSIS sends it back to CBSA it goes back to the bottom of the queue - which is why it's taking so long.
I feel this is the case, since PA's screening was not sent to CSIS, only the Dependant's - and PA's CBSA screening went from "In Progress" to "Passed" 13 months ago according to the gcms notes.
Try applying via the Ministry of Interior website, https://moi.gov.ae/en/eservices/issuance.clearcriminalrecord.certificate.348.aspxHi guys. I'm wondering if anyone has experienced requesting a police clearance from the UAE? My parents were once employed there back in 1991, and they're being asked to submit police clearances. The Dubai police office is asking for an Emirates ID/Unified Number, which my parents don't have. All they have as proof of employment there was a Resident Visa stamp. I've read that UAE started to issue these Emirates IDs back in 2012 when they switched to digital. Here's where we're stuck. Any help and information will be very helpful, thanks.

Thank you for this. Would you know if the application would go through if they don't possess an Emirates ID or Unified number?Try applying via the Ministry of Interior website, https://moi.gov.ae/en/eservices/issuance.clearcriminalrecord.certificate.348.aspx
Oh I just checked and Emirates ID is required. I guess your only other option would be to have your parents go to the nearest UAE embassy.Thank you for this. Would you know if the application would go through if they don't possess an Emirates ID or Unified number?
That's where we're having problems. We already asked the Embassy on what other options we have, and we're being redirected back to the app and through Dubai poloce office. And since it's been so long since my parents were there, I highly doubt that the Dubai office would've kept the records before the whole system went digital. Worse comes to worse I'll just write IRCC a lengthy explanation on what steps were taken, and that we cannot provide them a certificate.Oh I just checked and Emirates ID is required.
