I had an eligibility interview today.they took pasport and biometric and said we will call you after 1 or 2 week for interview.is this normal ? Because all others setting their have an interview right away

Hi how did it end as I’m in the same situation now and it’s been over 3 weeks and I havnt heard from them after passport seized

Hearing date will come after 7 to 8 months of eligibility

I had my eligibility interview in June 2023, almost a year has passed now. Is this normal? I am in Montreal.

Ps. I haven’t heard from them since receiving my work permit.

It’s more than normal, I waited 2 year and 3 months to have my hearing..

Passport seizure — June 22, 2023
Interview — September 11, 2023
Less complex — January 14, 2024.

They called for 2nd interview right after 20 days on 4th march got my work permit too
