Application Number found on additional document request should be the correct one. Also, remember to add the sponsor in count of family member in the application (last question on the form). For example, If you're sponsoring your mum and dad with no dependent children, that count will be 3. Good luck!

On behalf of my parent, I created a GCKey account and have been trying to link the application. I have tried 4 times already with a bunch of combinations, making sure I enter the correct information (App number, UCI, etc.) but it just says:
Based on the information you entered, we found no applications.

She has received every request and correspondence (my approval of sponsorship, medical+biometric+police cleareance).

1. Why can't it find the application?

2. Is there a place that she needs to upload 1. police clearance 2. medical 3. biometric?

I used 4 family members. Me, my husband( co-sponsor), my mom and dad. I did not include children while counting family members.

After I submitted the requested additional documents to the email that was in the additional document letter, I got an automatic reply that if you are submitting a document send it through webform. has this happened to anyone else? this was for the Mississauga office. thanks

Now after I linked their account, I got to know that my parents did biometrics in Aug, 2019 and it is valid till Aug, 2029.
Can I get the biometrics fees back?

My parent application shows exactly the same thing! HOWEVER, do not request for refund. Biometrics for PR and your other application differ. So I'd suggest not wasting your time and that of the officers.

For your first question: Just to be sure you are entering the correct number of people in the application correctly; assuming you (sponsor) and your spouse (co-sponsor) are sponsoring your dad (primary applicant) and mom (dependent) with no dependent children. Therefore, the number of people in the application will be 4.


For the second question, medical and biometric are automatically sent to IRCC by the service provider from wherever they were completed. And I believe you must have been advised to send Police Clearance to an email address or via a webform when it was requested. If you had linked your application to a GCKey before PCC was requested, there would been a provision in there for you to directly upload it.

In summary, once an application has been linked to GCkey, all correspondences will be via the the GCKey. Good Luck!

I am in the same situation. Sent it at the end of February. I called them, the agent said it has been received, however, till now, no updates at all! Don’t understand….

Hi where did you get the PR portal 1 request from? Is it montreal or Missisauga?

Mine came from Montreal, I know few got it from Etobicoke Ontario. FYI Montreal is not as prompt as ON, the ON offices take about 7 days between emails, Montreal takes a bit over 3 weeks from my experience.
