I have submitted my wife spousal sponsorship in Dec 2023 , got my AOR IN JAN 2024 and completed biometric and medical by Feb 2024 end. Today I got the pre arrival letter . Does anyone know how long it takes to get PPR after pre arrival letter.

Chinese applications always have background verification in progress from day 1 of application submission. Dont' know why.
Do you know if, when the sponsor is approved, the file is automatically transferred to VO?

can you please share the exact dates if possible because i am also a December applicant and i have not received the pre-arrival services letter yet.

from what i have seen in this forum and all the threads, it certainly is like that. once the sponsor is approved the SA letter does says that the file is transferred to so and so office for further processing.
Which country is PA from . ?? If PRe arrival comes mostly within 2 months u should have ur PPR it is max time..
pre-arrival letter can come any time. It's not an official "stage" and there is no "max time" after pre-arrival for PPR.
FYI a lot of inland applicants get pre-arrival which doesn't really mean anything to them.
