Hi Guys, I was checking my friend's GCMS notes and I came across this note in his file. I can also confirm that DF is definitely derog flag. File location is E-Grant which also confirms they are now removing DF from notes.
OUTCOME OF REVIEW
Comments: Pending derog flag, grant ready
Outcome of Review: Decision Ready - holding on direction
NEXT PROCESSING STAGE
FILE TO: Grant

In my notes they removed this portion. After I submitted my application I travelled Cuba for one week which explains why they put me in DF as well. Regardless of Country you visit they run some checks on you to see if you travelled to your home country. I believe this applies if you are a refugee and travelled before or after submitting application.
The same location
I get my GCMS and it’s change from Grant DF to Grant
Is it any other change in your note
Is it positive?

My filed change from Grant DF to Grant
What do you think ?
is it positive or not ‍♀
Did you get any new notes or exact same atip as last one but just without DF? If no new notes, your location is most likely still DF but they just redacted it. See also if they’re is any sections such as s(21) on the top right corner of the 3rd page.

It’s new note
All locations change to Grant. And the section on right corner is s(16)
The last Atip I did not have s(16)
What’s the meaning of this ?

No I mean actual notes in your atip. Like note #1, note #2 etc. if you have any new notes that are added then your current location might not be grant DF. If no new notes are added then it’s 99% DF they just chose to redact it.

Don’t worry about the s(16) they’re irrelevant.

I have been waiting since June 2023, just 2 more months and I will complete a year now. All taxes filed and I have been paying heavy taxes as well. There is a need to revamp the process to make it more transparent and fair for all. As many are updating that some 3rd party is taking long time to finish some process. Why can't IRCC hire a good 3rd party service provider that can work efficiently and finish the job in due time. These 3rd parties are being paid out of our tax money.

It doesn’t matter if you travelled or not, there are a lot of people never travelled anywhere and stuck in DF.
True. I was Grant-DF too. I was a protected person. I have RTD but never travel, never renew my home country Passport. Got Stuck in Prohibitions for more than 2 months for no reason at all. They never ask me for fingerprint or interview or anything. There wasn't any investigation that I am aware of. There wasn't any suspicious notes in my GCMS notes. My prohibitions were just left untouched until someone decide to complete it. Guys nobody can understand the way IRCC operate.
