Personal Effects Accounting Document questions

This seems so tough, honestly............

Our son is landing on Friday and trying to get this filled out for/with him

So many questions:

For Importer's Addrees...............his address overseas or his address in Canada(my address)

All he will be bringing is his clothes, phone and an Ipad
So just list those three things seperately.


He is only doing a "soft landiing"

So does he check off "Seasonal Resident" or "Settler"

Thanks for any help............very confusing

Wait until he finally settle in Canada. He only has a few items, so he probably don't need to fill out this form at all (unless the clothes are designer brands).

dont have to use 186A if you have a big list or a movers inventory - which is what we had. its not as complex as you think
for personal effects just ensure serial numbers are listed for laptops, ipads and phones
